From where I'm viewing, the BB text shows up as the standard light green on your mini profile. And I'm more likely to like the coloured text only, as the red bg looks too bright and distracting. I wouldn't mind either the name or the value. Perhaps just the name. Can I have your subjective view about the colours though? Because red in HP symbolises Gryffindor house doesn't it ie. Bravery? So would it be best to have the colour darker green instead for Dark Favour? Viewing in IE btw. Edit: no worries, your post still made perfect sense!

Having only the name component (and not the value) a specific color might prove harder than I thought, IE6 users won't be able to see it since it uses advanced CSS only supported by IE7. It's currently set to colored value text which in my opinion fits in with the colored value text for gender (male/female). Yes Gryffindor/bravery would look better with a crimson color and dark favour with a green. Just edit the colors in the style tag (you can use the #000000 form too) since you're the artistic one Edit: Seems we'll be limited to both the name and the value components of the field being colored since IE won't support sibling css selectors in quirks mode. If you really want one or the other to be colored then I'll have to edit the mpremodel code again Edit2: Edited mpremodel code so that only value (not name) cell is given a dual class.

It looks great Eton! Thanks. I'll play around with the colours when it goes up on the main site. Btw can you add my new owl icon links coz I need to know if it looks OK incase I need to redesign them? I know you're probably getting round to things as I list them but that one I'm just dying to see what it looks like, LOL! Or at least direct me on how to update the urls myself. BTW I don't suppose you are around GMT afternoon on the 31st as that's when I'm shutting MM for plugging in version 3 and might need emergency coding help lol! I'd really appreciate it if you could pop by just for a min to see if everything has gone OK and I dont need some kind of coding emergency? Im sure it will be fine, but it will be pretty haunting if I have to open up the site again with either something messing up or having to leave something out because of it. Should I post on here if I really need you, so that you know to come to main site? It's fine if you can't make it, as you know, its all OK on the test board so should be OK over there! People's points won't be overwritten when I put in the miniprofile code, will they? I didn't get to check on the beta board before it went offline! Bah! *is probably worrying too much!*

Bah! *is probably worrying too much!* I must be going crazy because I was positive I had already switched the icons to the new ones a few days ago... I'm not exactly sure where I'll be on new years eve... but I'll check-in if I have the chance. Existing dark favor/bravery bonus points will be unaffected the code merely colors them if they are present nothing else. I could move all the remotely hosted codes back to the header/footer (the code delegator accepts both) but that would negate the purpose of the delegator in the first place which is user's browser only downloads the selectable codes only if they choose to enable the feature the code provides. If they are placed in the header/footer then the codes download regardless, the only time saving would then be the execution of the code if it's disabled. Perhaps we should create another ripway account and give everyone with access to the h/f the password and upload the codes there that way we get the maximum effect of the delegator.

It's only you and me (and assassin but he has disappeared!) so far with access to headers and footers, though was thinking of one other person having access incase me and you are away. I'd rather the least amount of people have access to them for obvious reasons! No need to move the hosted codes back into h/f, I like the idea that you can choose - and it does make the loading noticably quicker. We could make another account at some point in the future, I think it's fine at the moment. However, if you suddenly disappear and I really need to edit a code, I'm not going to be able to get into your hosting account and change things.

ETA oh I had to re-add the hyperlink button in, and I did def do it a few days ago. Are we still overwriting each other? And thanks so much for hiding the side table on the admin pages and PMs, great idea. ETA Oh, the new PM icons have just started showing! Hmm think they need to be brightened up along with the parchments down the side, they're looking a bit greyish. Sorry will have to pass you over new ones again Just overwrote the images in Ripway instead.

Eton I think I've messed up the side table with my editing. I want to make the black table behind the tables narrower (as narrow as it can go) and a fixed width - at the moment it widens as you widen the window and I don't want it to do that. I think I got rid of something that was there before when I put in the Welcome parchment at the top, as it doesn't move with the rest of the table when you open up the window more (IE). Hope you can help me with that.

Also could you try aligning the text in the Info center for the 'Information' and 'Birthdays' ? ie. move 'Information' text a bit nearer the left so it's in line? Thanks.

Regarding the side table - I reduced width of the top parchment as it was making the black stretch. Could you just make it so that the black backing doesn't widen as you widen the window (using IE but could you make it CB) and just have it fixed at the left at it's narrowest position?
Thanks!

OK side table width looks great but it butts up too near the forum table. Could you push it a little left - so that there is a couple of cm gap breathing space between them? And I'd prefer it not to move when you open and close the window width, ie stuck to the left fixed. Thanksssss! And sorry for my fussinessss! ETA is there any chance that the top banner and the forum table can line up and the side table is just along the side but a few cm away from the forum table as mentioned above? If you dont know what I mean I'll do a preview image again. It's my designer training, everything has to be aligned! lol

Had an idea that would be cool if you could do this week Eton. Could you make the side tables expand/collaspe when you click on their header images (ie Introduction, Portkeys images) - but the header image still shows when it's collapsed, much like the categories expand/collapse? I know you've got it in the optional select dropdown but it's a bit of a pain to keep activating and deactivating it to check the headlines and notices just incase they have changed, so this could work as well as that option? That would be cool because it would be nice to keep the side table up but for example I wouldn't need to read the staff list over and over and some of the other tables you dont need to read more than a few times etc. Can you make any fixes I give you priority over this though, this isn't urgent - you do work pretty fast! But no pressure if you're finding it too tricky to do, it's not vital. NB. Note the fix in the new image cell on the main page written on this board's cell. OK I'll stop now. All that'll keep you busy! Have a Merry Xmas if I don't speak to you beforehand. xx

If you want collapsible instead then that feature will have to be scrapped. Also the table wasn't suppose to appear on the list of selectable codes (an oversight on my part) it was placed in the delegator in order to be shown only on the homepage and not other main pages such as view profile. It downloads regardless and since it renders instead of execute, no time is saved disabling it. Merry xmas

If you want collapsible instead then that feature will have to be scrapped. Merry xmas Yes of course I noticed that reverse direction thing! Its very cool! But I think I lost most of them when I did my edit. Perhaps we could leave it on some ie the DP Headlines and have 1 or 2 others to be collapsible for now? Oh I see! OK then! I noticed these particular pages load up contracted and then expand after a few seconds delay, I'm guessing thats whats causing that. Could it be possible to improve it? Ive noticed Wizard Portus does the same thing so maybe it's just the way it is when you have a side table.
Thanks so much for the gap reducing in IE on the new cells! And the IC looks a hundred times better lined up!! Thank you! Only thing left is the side table to move along left a bit and the welcome table (top banner) aligned with forum. And perhaps try one or two collapsible tables (Intro or Staff and Get Started?) if you have the time after those fixes. But you have all week for it so no rush. This is so brilliant, thank you for all your help! I really admire your coding talents! Have a good one!
