Added link to beta board in this board's header so it can't be lost!
1. 'Wizards Online' cell.

The problem is the addition of collapsible sections in the default info center in version 4.5 forcing the info center code for MM to be modified to take this into account. In addition v4.5 now also comes with a new default section entitled 'Users Online in the past 24 hours' which would obviously require a remodel of the custom MM info center in order to find space to display this new section.
Edit: Take a look at the info center on the beta test site to see how I propose to resolve the above stated problems

Could you make a note of the parts you have edited for the fixes separately because I've been updating the headers & footers on the main site, bit here and bit there - therefore I can't copy and paste the whole H&Fs from the beta test site to the main site without loosing all the changes Ive done until the upgrade. Hope that's OK. BTW the ringalex now gives permission to host on the beta site.

The modified Info Center code is still compatible with pbv4 so that can be copied in its entirety. There is a few changes to the HTML part of the IC that need to be made: old code: <td class="titlebg" colspan="2"> <font size="1" class="titlebg"><b>Wizards Present</b></font> </td> |
new code: <td class="titlebg" colspan="2"> <div style="float: left; width: 50%;" > <font size="1" class="titlebg"><b>Wizards Present</b></font> </div> <div style="float: right; width: 50%;text-align:right" id="edToggleSwitch"> <script>if("undefined"!= typeof pb_VersionNo)document.write(' <font style="font-size: xx-small; ">[<a id="edToggleOnline" href="javascript:void(0)" onclick="toggleUser()" > show wizard history</a>]</font>');</script> </div> <div style="display:none;" id="edOnlineNow"></div> <div style="display:none;" id="edOnline24"></div> </td> |
*Use the "wizards present" as a search in the main header to find the section of HTML I'm referring to.

So you mean I can replace that bit of new code in the main site right now and it will be OK for v4 and v4.5? Or the whole lot, header & footer, now?

Im assuming the forked thread fix on the main site will fix the forked thread error on the beta test board? I think you did that fix after I made the test site. ETA eep, the forked thread doesn't work on the main site... still showing up blanks. Did I need to do something for that and I forgot?

BTW What happened to the info center on this test site? Were you testing?

BTW What happened to the info center on this test site? Were you testing? I was testing and forgot to enable the script when done. Uploading some scripts to ringalex (unencrypted) but awaiting decision on whether to upload encrypted versions as well... The fix for fork thread was to make sure it ran before the script that changed forum jump to floo network else fork code couldn't find forum jump in order to get the board names. (fork should appear before floonet code in list of codes in delegator code-- floonet of course not being optional) I plan on putting more codes in the code delegator (a.k.a. user selectable codes) but not making them optional (won't show up on user's list) so the site should load even faster, but I'll first need to add a mechanism to the delegator code where one code can specify that it depends on another code running first before it can run. Hopefully all this can be done before the upgrade rolls out for servers hosting MM and its test forums. They've run into a few snags on the test rollout on server 48 (hosts fewest forums) so it should buy some time.

changing just that part will have no affect on v4.0 since it will be hidden until a users online in past 24 hours feature is added.
